Beginning in November, 2023, Cornelia UMC provides food for those in need on the first and third Thursdays of every month from 1:00-2:30pm.
One shopper per family is able to come into the pantry and shop with one of our Food Pantry Assistants who will guide them through the pantry.
Typically, a shopper is able to fill up a box of food for their family comprised of items such as soup, cereal, canned fruits and vegetables, frozen meat, pastries, and much more.
Other Food Distributions
From time to time, we have the opportunity to provide a special one-day food distribution. These are not regularly scheduled and are based on availability from our partner - The Food Bank of Northeast Georgia. The will be advertised each time that we have the opportunity to provide this service.
